Patrimoine *** Heritage and Property

L'argiope frelon (Argiope bruennichi)

Jack Lang introduced in 1984 when he was the Minister for the Arts two days called “les journées du Patrimoine” (Heritage days). During these two days on the 3rd weekend of September lots of public establishments, such as the Elysée Palace, the official residence of the French President, are open to the public.
I don’t know yet what I would like to visit, I do just know that I need to manage my own small property. It's maybe the case of some of my friends whom I'm missing... Though... What a joy ! Reflex came back last night !

  4. Hi Cergie!

Wow, that's pretty funny that we both have similar pictures. I guess the same type of spider exists in both France and Canada.
You have some really cool photos - the moth landing on the flower was timed perfectly - good job! I'll be back soon!

    Apart caterpillars ! I hate caterpillars !
Hi, joel, so you find too that my spider looks like your ?
Even the web is destroyed at the same way !
Though, i saw some little differences. For instance, mine is much fater !
ash, it was not so difficult: I had the choice, I was surrounded by spiders !

  8. Heritage days are a great idea. I would love to come and visit France during this time.

That is a wonderful photo of a spider. Spiders are my favourite of all 'bugs'. I think they are brilliant!

  10. black feline, I mean I’m a spider having much work to take care of my home !
And I prefer to do else thinks than doing ironing or cooking or all the housework !
Reflex is a barge, now. Ups! He’s back!
san nakji, you’ld love to live in France at least two years and so you can discover all our marvels. And even taste our raie wings cooked with black butter and caper.

  12. And even if catterpilars are not dangerous (some can be very urticating), I don't like them AT ALL !
