AGRICULTURE

For a moment, I’m having my eyes on the golden wheat surrounding Cergy and yesterday I noticed harvest has begun at least for barley which ripe first. I’ve lucky and I find some left and even poppy capsules. You may catch sight of my friends the iron giants beneath the barley and wheat fields...

My young Pierre is studying at a "Grande Ecole d’Agronomie" in Montpellier (south part of France) and will be an Agronomist at the end of next year. For the moment he is doing a work placement at the other side of Paris in an young start up studying application of recearch to agricultural reallity. He must travel 2 hours to go and 2 other to come home by RER. (Paris subway express). He loves nature. He loves technology too. Often during his placement he goes outside and does takings.
He managed all I need for my old computer and now I’ve the most high-performance of the all family! The last he did for me: he configured it as well I can read Chinese caracters.
He found in our garage an old car speaker and with it and with an empty box of paper, he made for his office a computer-speaker. Rather pretty I think ! And I'm remembering Young Pitou, 21 years ago, looking at me with anxious eyes, wondering what kind of mother he’d got !( Tell me, did you notice an amazing detail on Pierre's photo ?)

    ;-\
Merci ! Je me sens légère.

  5. I love fields of grain; they have a special beauty to me having grown up on a farm.

Your son sure has a long ride each way but the vocation he is studying for sounds great.

  6. Yes, I do love golden fields too. You know, I always need to follow nature progress. But sommer is not my favorite season. Too hot !
And it's difficult to help children's choice and at the same time let them have their own...

  9. aïe! aïe! aïe! san nakji !
    1) did you notice a bottle with a yellow cap ? It's a Grimbergen bottle ! A Belgian golden beer !
    2) all my children went away when 18 for studying, and because of that, since february 2006 I began with web and computer and so on... I never did that before. I was thinking: Annabelle is living in Germany, perhaps then in Australia maybe (or New Zealand)! And when I'll be a grandmother, I want to be abble to use webcame !
At the same time, I was a good mother but now I'm happy to have more time for me.
Unfortunately, my 2 sons are now at home ! Pierre until September and Etienne for a long time, who knows ?
Let me take this opportunity to tell you I like the post you did about babies and sure it's essential to caress them and play with their feet. I noticed that they put on weight better so (it's the same for calf ! Ahaha !)...
You'll be a good father San Nakji...
